*tama ka katie dapat ganto minsan.haha.* LESSON 1: USEFUL EXPRESSIONS 1. excuse me - shillye hamnida. 2. im sorry - cheolseong hamnida / mian hamnida ******* 'hamnida' informal form: HAE. ex: mian hamnida --> mian hae. cheolseong hamnida --> cheolseong hae 3. i love you - sarang hamnida ******* OR: sarang hae. 4. what's your name? - ireumi muoeya? (*ireum-name) 5. do you know me? - na arayo? ******** na ara so take it off if you're speaking to younger people. (be careful in removing 'yo', though) 6. happy birthday! - saeng il chuk ha hamnida (formal)/ saengshin chuk ha deoryeoyo (very formal) ******* saeng il chuk ha HAE 7. thank you - kamsa hamnida / gomawo(yo) ******* im not sure about kamsa HAE. just dont use it. i dont think it is correct. 8. i understand - alkessumnida(formal) / arasso(yo) 9. hello! (greeting) - annyeong haseyo (or simply annyeong for informal conversations) 10. gotta go! or bye! - annyeong! / jalga ps: hamnida is spelled as "habnida" in hangul(korean alphabet). same with imnida and sumnida. that's all for today. stay tuned. ♥ |
